PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Ranger Bathing Hoist is an ideal solution for people who need, or want, to have a bath but have difficulty lifting their legs over the side of the bath, transferring on and off a seat, are struggling walking to the bathroom safely or if there is no space in the bathroom to transfer. It allows a person to be transferred in the bedroom (possibly using a hoist there) and then pushed through into the bathroom. The chair is then detached from the base, clipped onto the arm of the bath hoist and the person is lowered into the bath in the same way as the Mermaid Hoist. The seat and base can also be used as a conventional commode. The lift is available in a manual (winding handle) version or an electric version.The seat can either be sited at the side or the end of the bath on either wooden or concrete floors. Comes supplied with a lap strap for added security.
