PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This simple yet effective door entry system is designed to help older and vulnerable people talk to and hear visitors clearly before opening the door to them.

The battery operated product has a white plastic casing which splits in half. It has a wide angle glass lens. It's fairly easy to fit, requiring a hole measuring 16mm to be drilled into the existing entrance door which the lens fits through. The plastic casing then screws on either side of the door, with the glass lens fitted through the hole. 

If a caller knocks on the door or rings the doorbell, the person at home can look through the 'spy hole' and see through the lens to the other side of the door, to see if they recognise the visitor. If not, they can switch on the intercom function, allowing them to hear the person on the other side. If the person at home wishes to talk directly to the caller, they can do so by pressing and holding in the button.. Communication is clear both ways.

The View-Com is supplied with a useful label to stick on the inside of the door where the product is fitted, which reminds the person in the house what they should do before answering the door.

It also has an integral earphone socket for those with hearing impairments. 

Supplied with 4 x AAA batteries and a 2 year manufacturer's guarantee.
